But before we get into the juice parts, I need to talk about protection. This is a contact sport, and you are training with the purpose to make extreme situations more predictable and manageable. There is no point in harming yourself in training rounds, and training can be hard on your body are some benefits of using protection, and you could still show up for work the next day. - Get a responsible person with more or less the same weight and height to train with.
- Protective head gear, gum guards, boxing gloves, groin guards and shin and foot padding protection are all that's needed to avoid major injuries.
- Don't eat at least 30 minutes before you start your training session.
- Find a quite suitable spot where you can train. Practicing on soft laws are ideal and can soften your landing when you take a knock out.
- Remember to do good old fashion stretching and warming up.
- Start practicing using slow moves and then learn how to spar faster, developing skills and getting more fit before you attempt to perform more intense training.
- Always warm down your body after a training session. Have water close by to prevent unnecessary dehydration.
